Ryde Events – Summer 2022

The last 2 years, many events in Ryde were cancelled due to Covid19 pandemic, but Ryde Town Council is now working with many events (old and new) to make Ryde really come alive this Summer for residents and visitors. Below is a list of some of the main events which start this Easter Weekend. Ryde Town Council now manage the Ryde Marina and have a new office there to find out what is going on.

Saturday/Sunday 29th/30th April – Ticket to Ryde events in Eastern Gardens

Saturday/Sunday 14th/15th May – Rydabus Weekend

Saturday 15th May – Ryde Forward and Ryde Town Annual Meeting/Day – Garfield Hall

An opportunity for local residents to come and see a range of exhibitions of local organisations and how they are collaborating in developing opportunities for the future of Ryde.

Saturday/Sunday 28th/29th May – Falklands War/Veteran’s ( 40th Anniversary) Event at Eastern Gardens

Thursday-Sunday 2nd June to 5th June – Queen’s Jubilee Events in Ryde

There are a host of events and street parties over these 4 days.

All these events and others, tell the story of the diversity, culture and community spirit of Ryde. New shops and venues are starting up and existing businesses are expanding. The Ryde summer of 2022 is going to be very special.
