Re-Elected Mayor of Ryde

Michael Lilley Ryde Mayor with musicians Grimshaws at official launch Ticket to a Ryde Western Gardens Ryde Isle of Wight

Last night (Monday 17th May 2021) at Garfield Church, I was re-elected by Ryde Town Council as Mayor of Ryde alongside Jenna Sabine of Our Ryde as deputy Mayor. This is my third year and I am very proud that the majority of my fellow Councillors supported me and have confidence in me. It has been a difficult time to be Mayor due to Covid19 pandemic but so much has been achieved which has been amazing. We now have a fantastic team of staff and councillors who will work alongside each other. Councillors who are listening to the community they represent.
