Great Preston Road resurfacing continues

Westridge Cross to Smallbrook Lane: Next up for Island Roads resurfacing (onthewight.com)

Island Roads’ Great Preston Road improvement project in Ryde is ahead of schedule, extending resurfacing to Westridge Cross to Smallbrook Lane.

sland Roads work to improve Great Preston Road in Ryde is ahead of schedule. And because the project has not, currently, been hindered by delay, an extra section is now to be resurfaced.

Between 7th and 9th February, the section between Westridge Cross and Smallbrook Lane – which has been particularly badly hit by the ‘freeze-thaw’ action of the recent cold and wet weather – will also be resurfaced.

Daytime work
The work on the additional section will take place between 7:30am and 5pm. Residents have received letters highlighting the scheme and its impact on them.
