Christmas Social and Ward Meeting – 7th December at 6pm onwards.

The next Ryde Appley and Elmfield Ward meeting is on the 7th December 2023 at 6pm at St. John’s Church Hall and will be a Christmas Social Event. It is an opportunity for me to thank all those in the ward that have helped and supported me and for local residents to meet up and chat.

There will tea, coffee, mulled wine, a buffet and mince pies. Please come along. Volunteers to help on the night really welcomed and please bring some food and donations for raffle.

There will be a short meeting so I can update local residents on what has been happening and for you to ask questions/raise concerns; but more importantly for us to celebrate the year as the last meeting of the year.

There will be a raffle for Tidal Family Support on Rink Road to help them rebuild after experiencing devastation due to the recent floods. You can also donate through clicking onto Fundraiser by Sarah Redrup : Help Tidal Family Support Rebuild After Flooding (gofundme.com) There is a fundraising quiz night on the 12th December at 7pm for Tidal at the Star on Ryde High Street. Please think about entering a team.

There will be no January Ward meeting on the 4th January and the next meeting will be 1st February 2024 at 7pm.

Friday 8th and 9th December – Merry and Bright in Ryde

I am in the Merry and Bright celebration this year as the Conductor on the Polar Express. This is a real celebration of Ryde and there will late night shopping. See the below links for more information.
