Appley Toilets Vandalised!

During Ryde Town Council staff checks yesterday it came to light that the ladies toilets at Appley had been vandalised yesterday afternoon/evening.   Two of the three wallgate units have been smashed along with some , toilet roll holders and damage to a small section of the roof and guttering.

The ladies toilets will remain closed for a day in order for to isolate the one working unit so it can be used by the public safely. RTC are looking at upgrading the toilets at Appley and this would include the repairs needed.

As the toilets at Appley are busy all year round you may receive complaints directly regarding the ladies being closed.  Please be reassured that RTC will be putting signage up to explain and they hope to have them open again as soon as possible. The men’s and disabled toilets are still fully operational.
